The West Village, June 2016

My full-time job recently relocated to a huge space somewhere in the West Village (or Greenwich Village, or anywhere in between), New York City. Just a short lunchtime walk away is Hudson River Park, home to a load of tennis courts, sunbathers, bicyclists, a bustling dog park, and stunning views of 1 World Trade and the Statue of Liberty.
What truly stood out to me was that in a city of 8.4 million residents, these shots are almost completely barren. Here’s some of what I saw.
