Red House Roasters, Real New Jersey Coffee

If you like great coffee, appreciate hard-working small businesses, or just want to support a good cause, buy a bag of coffee from Red House Roasters in Union City, NJ. These guys travel the world to find new, exotic flavors from farms that respect their workers, utilize natural farming methods, and above all, have prime coffee beans.
I was given the opportunity to meet the guys behind RHR while filming a video for Unique Photo. I have nothing but respect for these people. They work 6-7 days a week, not because they need to make a living, but because they genuinely love coffee. I don’t even drink coffee (please hold your “boos” until the end), but I’ve been drooling over how my clothes and my car have smelled since I left the building. If that’s not a testimonial, I’m not sure what is!
The owner was kind enough to bring my coworker and I into a courtyard behind the business. He explained that his building used to be an old silk factory. When we walked out the back door, we were greeted by a handful of late-19th century buildings in amazing condition where the factory workers had lived so many years before.
The “Jersey Devil” blend, a local favorite flavor from the Rutgers University alums, is available daily at the Red House Roasters Coffee Bar inside Unique Photo on Route 46 in Fairfield, New Jersey. To buy directly from the company, visit the RHR website.
